Summary 

Virtual relationships have taken a big place in the lives of modern people, in which social networks, including Facebook, play an important role. This social network has become an integral part of the lives of most people in many countries of the world, including Georgia. People became so dependent on Facebook that they didn't even realize it. According to the authors of the article,over-reliance  on „Facebook “ is a big problem that affects people in several ways. But, in their opinion, the main thing is damage to human health. The authors of the article, based on their own observations and the results of the online survey, focus on the benefits that people  get through using Facebook, which became an objective reality during the coronavirus pandemic. Facebook  has played a role in encouraging people in Georgia to “stay home”. According to the authors of the article, despite the positive results brought to the public by Facebook, measures should be taken in time to solve the problem of people's dependence on Facebook.
